The challenges thrown up by Islamic aggression were squarely accepted by Hindu Muslim saints. Most of the literature created by Marathi Muslim saint poets, however, has been largely neglected. Dr.Dhere presents in some detail, the literature created by the better known of these, and brief description of that of the others.
